Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. You'll only be charged after the trial if you decide to continue.
What does the Season Pass cover?
The Season Pass is a one-time payment that gives you full access from August through the end of your playoff run — typically five to six months. There's no monthly billing, no renewals mid-season, and no surprises.
Can I switch from Monthly to a Season Pass?
Yes. Contact us and we'll apply your unused monthly time toward the Season Pass price. We'll make sure you don't pay twice for the same period.
What sports does StatsGuy support?
American football only — that focus is intentional. StatsGuy supports NCAA, NFHS (high school), NFL/Pro, CFL, Arena Football, and Indoor/Semi-Pro rule sets. Depth over breadth.
Is my data isolated from other subscribers?
Yes. Every subscription gets its own fully isolated database partition. Your data cannot appear in another subscriber's account, and no data is shared across tenants.
How does the REST API work?
Every account includes API keys you can use to pull game, season, team, and player stats in JSON. Authenticate with an X-API-Key header. Full documentation is at /docs/api-reference.
How does ScoreStream and MaxPreps import work?
Search for a team on ScoreStream to pull in colors, mascot, and game history. Then search MaxPreps to import your full roster in one click. No manual player entry needed.
What is multi-user and how do roles work?
Admins manage users, settings, and billing. Scorers can enter plays and manage game data. Viewers have read-only access to stats and box scores. You can invite as many users as you need — there's no per-seat charge.
